At Glacier Auto Glass, we see all kinds of glass damage, but every once in a while a job comes in that makes us smile. This week we received a call from a lifelong Bothell resident with a broken back window. He got our information from a blog post on the Bothell Blog. The customer had a 1998 Chevrolet Suburban with a patched up rear liftgate window that looked like it had lost a fight with a tarp and duct tape. He actually did a great job temporarily sealing the window.
The owner’s schedule was a bit bonkers that week but he was going to be working in Bothell the entire time. So, since we are a mobile auto glass service, we said we could meet him where ever he needed in our around Bothell.
The Day of the Glass Install
We gave him a quote over the phone and he asked to move forward with the replacement. Since time was not a huge concern, we ordered the auto glass and the next day we gave the customer a call and let me know.
We scheduled a time (the next day) to get it replaced at his place of work near Thrashers Corner. The next day we got on site, met the customer and got to work on the replacement. Once we finished, he came out to see the finished product and he was blown away on how fast we got the job done and how the re-install looked like it came from the factory. Another happy customer.
Then After the Window Replacement
After fixing him up, we headed over to Applebee’s in Canyon Park to grab some half price apps. Apparently folks from Bothell call Applebee’s Bothellbee’s, which I think is clever.
